  • This innovative program offers a mentor-guided research experience to high school or college students in the dynamic realm of academic research tailored to their unique interests. By the end of the program, students can expect to publish their research in a peer-reviewed academic journal along with their mentor.

    👩🏻‍🎓 Each student is paired with one mentor (graduate or PhD) ensuring a personalized and enriching experience

    ⏰ Weekly check-ins between student and mentor to ensure progress (up to 8 one-on-one mentor meetings included)

    📝 Includes literature review, manuscript writing, report writing, research paper writing, submission for publication and 3 rounds of edits/reviews

    🏫 Student is eligible to receive a letter of recommendation from mentor for future college applications

    Time commitment: 8-12 weeks

    💰Journal submission and publication fee will be paid by Incognito Blueprints up to $250.

  • Week 01

    ✅ Brainstorming research interest with mentor and finalizing on a topic

    Week 02 - 04

    ✅ Identify need statement

    ✅ Begin literature reviews

    Week 05 - 09

    ✅ Formulate hypothesis

    ✅ Design of experiments and data collection

    Week 10 - 12

    ✅ Start writing report report, research paper and identify figures for research papers

    ✅ Submit research paper for publication

    Beyond Week 12

    ✅ Present research to a panel of judges from Incognito Blueprints

    ✅ Review edit requests from peer-reviewed journals
